HORIZONS is a large study of people across the UK who have had a diagnosis of cancer.
We are interested in how a diagnosis of cancer and its treatment affects a person's life over time. The aim is to understand what is important to people with cancer during their treatment and in the months and years afterwards.
We are delighted to announce that we have recruited over 3000 patients to this ambitious study. This is a significant achievement and has been possible thanks to all those taking part in the study and to the staff who have helped recruit patients from 110 hospitals across the UK.
Information from our study will be a major national resource and will help inform support services in the future.
